Resumo:Motivated by the current situation of coping with Sars-CoV-2, and the notion that throughout history the health crises have left sequels in the way we conceive spaces, the present work deals with the development of a preliminary architectural study of a multifamily vertical building with a focus on in sanitation and flexibility. The fact that this proposal is still being developed in the context of fighting the disease makes the use of terms such as “post-covid 19 architecture” or “post-pandemic architecture” premature. However, after two years of living with the virus, the debate about the impacts of this historic moment on buildings can begin. More specifically, two questions arise, the first concerns: how can we make environments safer in relation to the contagion of diseases? And the second: how can we create housing that is better adapted to the need for changes, whether temporary and dynamic - such as in periods of social isolation or continued permanence - or those that arise throughout the life of their owners? From these reflections, the approaches of the proposal are traced. Sanitaryism, on the one hand, seeks to incorporate strategies to mitigate the contagion of diseases and promote health in the architectural project. As for flexibility, it is concerned with allowing the residential environment to easily adapt to the routine and/or lifestyle changes of its users.
