| Resumo: | The Zenga distribution has useful characteristics for representing income, finances and actuarial distributions, it has three positive parameters, μ, α and θ, with μ corresponding to the expected value, α estimator that gives forms the right tail and θ who gives the form around the mean, we will discuss and analyze the method of moments and maximum likelihood as a technique for estimating the parameters.
This work presents a theoretical introduction of the Zenga distribution and its practical application in financial data of health operators in the medical-hospital cooperative modality, data was publicly available by the Agência Nacional de Saúde (ANS). |
