| Resumo: | Faced with the pandemic caused by the covid-19 virus in Brazil, many of the occurrences of infections brought cases of deaths in the country, impacting all regions. One of the most affected professions were health professionals, especially nursing professionals, as they are in greater and direct contact with patients. Two of the states that generated the greatest concern in 2020 for their numbers of occurrences by covid-19 were Amazonas and São Paulo, studies indicate that one of the reasons that interfered in this result is givenby the socioeconomic reality of the population. Thus, the objective of this study is to analyze the impact of the covid-19 pandemic generated on the life expectancy of nursing professionals in AM and SP, using the mortality table and single decrement table as a method. |
