| Resumo: | The objective of this work is to present the feasibility of using containers in civil
construction and to show the effectiveness of this innovative method, highlighting its main
characteristics and what are its advantages and disadvantages compared to the traditional
methods used in civil construction. The current concern with sustainability has made architects
and designers look for new ways to build, which allow for a lower consumption of materials
harmful to the environment, such as cement and sand. Thus, the container emerged as a
constructive method, because, in addition to minimally using these polluting materials, it allows
for less water consumption and has a structure with high durability and mobility. In order to
seek fundamentals related to the execution of a work that uses containers, bibliographic research
and analysis of works, both national and international, using the same technique, were carried
out, in addition to comparisons between the traditional method and the method using containers.
Therefore, construction with containers, which is on the rise in Brazil, presents itself as a
sustainable, fast and effective solution, being able to adapt to different relief situations. |
