Resumo: | This work does noise evaluations of the turbulent boundary layer - trailing edge noise of several airfoils as well as considerations about the performance at free transition and forced transition, with application on wind turbines. For that, the project of a rotor was made in QBlade seeking to establish the required flow conditions. The programs NAFNoise and PNoise, available in QBlade, were used in generating the sound pressure level spectra. Python routines were needed for automating the performance analysis made in Xfoil and the noise analysis done in NAFNoise. From the observed data gathered, the airfoil NACA 63415 presented the best performance in forced transition at 10% of the chord and reduction of 1 to 2 dBA in comparison to the other airfoils used in the analysis. The program elaborated to serve as an interface performed as expected. |
