description Currently, the discussion of feminism has been gaining strength in the world, with this violence against women becomes a relevant and widely discussed subject given the increasing number of cases. However, the issue still comes up against gaps involved in society's lack of knowledge about the existing hetero-patriarchal-racist hegemony, making the struggle to combat such violence not fully understood by a large part of the population and by the State. Public policies to combat violence against women are still far from ideal, since there are cities without the presence of a government agency specialized in gender and violence. Therefore, the objective of this work is to analyze the current conjuncture of public policies aimed at confronting and combating violence against women in order to clarify the impacts that political actions have on the phenomenon, as well as to demonstrate the importance of the feminist struggle to the achievement of these rights for women. The specific objectives are formed from the need to attribute the need for public policies to face and fight together with the support of the feminist struggle in the process of human emancipation, seeking to identify the influence of patriarchy in society and its violent consequences on women. This research work is based on the theoretical-methodological perspective of dialectical historical materialism. The approach of the research carried out is qualitative. The approach of the research carried out is qualitative, bibliographic to obtain data, data/information from the documentary research was gathered on websites, documents, monographs. Concluding that the federal, state and municipal governments of policies for women present challenges, structural and budgetary limitations for their full functioning.

Atualmente, a discussão do feminismo vem ganhando força no mundo, com isso a violência contra as mulheres se torna um assunto relevante e bastante abordado visto a crescente no número de casos. Contudo, a temática ainda se esbarra em lacunas envoltas no desconhecimento da sociedade sobre a hegemonia hetero-patriarcal-racista existente, fazendo com que a luta para o combate de tal violência não seja compreendida em sua totalidade por boa parte da população e pelo Estado. As políticas públicas de combate a violência contra a mulher ainda estão longe do ideal, uma vez que existem cidades sem a presença de órgão governamental especializado na temática de gênero e violência. Por isso, o objetivo deste trabalho é analisar a atual conjuntura das políticas públicas voltadas para o enfrentamento e combate da violência contra a mulher a fim de esclarecer os impactos que as ações políticas detêm sobre o fenômeno, bem como demonstrar a importância da luta feminista para a conquista desses direitos para as mulheres. Os objetivos específicos se formam a partir da necessidade de atribuir as políticas públicas no enfrentamento e combate juntamente com o apoio da luta feminista no processo de emancipação humana buscando identificar a influência do patriarcado na sociedade e suas consequências violentas sobre as mulheres. Este trabalho de pesquisa apoia-se na perspectiva teórico-metodológica do materialismo histórico dialético. A abordagem da pesquisa realizada é qualitativa e bibliográfica para obtenção de dados reuniu-se dados/informações da pesquisa documental em sites, documentos, monografias.
