| Resumo: | Municipal public schools are institutions that receive hundreds of users every day, including children and adolescents, who constitute their target audience. Due to little financial incentive and lack of technical knowledge, these environments are affected by various pathological manifestations, becoming unsafe and often inappropriate for use. In this way, the present work has the objective of performing the diagnosis of the pathological problems found in three public schools in the municipal network of Currais Novos/RN. For the development of this study, technical visits were made to the institutions, photographic record and bibliographic research, making possible the knowledge about the main pathological manifestations, the possible causes and origins of these problems. After the analysis it is possible to conclude that the carelessness in any stage of the constructive process, as well as the lack of preventive maintenance throughout its useful life, can result in the appearance of pathological manifestations. |
