Resumo:This technical report refers to an experimental project, which presents a special article called “Women in charge: the challenges of being a referee in the potiguar soccer” that refers to the undergraduate final project for the Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. The article intends to tell the life stories of three local women and the challenges they faced in order to become soccer referees and how they managed to maintain themselves in those positions, through their personal account and that of their family members. Given the news report genre and the features of life stories, this piece has an objective and humanized language that brings the reader closer to each moment expressed in the text, thus, bringing more visibility to the feminine presence, still so discriminated against in the soccer field. This report presents the theoretical basis of that process and the experience account throughout the elaboration of the proposed product.
