Resumo: | The pandemic caused by COVID-19 constitutes a public health emergency of
international importance, due to the high speed of transmission, increasing number of
cases and deaths worldwide. Control measures such as social distancing, hygiene
practices, mask use and vaccination are important to reduce its transmissibility. In
addition, after improvement of the classic symptoms of this disease, and even after
hospital discharge, the individual may have sequelae. The dissemination of clear,
consistent and evidence-based information is essential for the control of sequelae caused
by this disease. Thus, the research aimed to build digital educational material on
guidelines for the care of post-COVID-19 sequelae, aimed at Community Health
Agents. This is a methodological research for the elaboration of an educational booklet.
The study was carried out in two stages. The first consisted of a literature review of
national and international journals where information relevant to the care of postCOVID-19 sequelae was collected, from which the data that served as a basis for the
preparation of the informative material were extracted. In the second, a survey of
theoretical content was carried out for the construction of the digital booklet to provide
CHAs on guidelines for the care of post-COVID-19 sequelae. Finally, Adobe Photoshop
software was used, characterized as an image editor developed by Adobe Systems.
Guidelines on fatigue and dyspnea on exertion were included; sadness; joint mobility
and cardiovascular function; neurological and cognitive impairment; dysphagia and
decreased odor and taste of food. The research allowed us to summarize a range of
knowledge about care with possible sequelae resulting from COVID-19. It is expected
that the material will be accessible to Community Health Agents and contribute to better
adherence to care measures in the face of sequelae, impacting on improving the
population's quality of life. |
