description The so-called severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a disease of great impact in immunosuppressed people, including cancer patients who are at increased risk of infection compared to the general population.From this perspective, the present study aims to present an integrative literature review on nursing care practices in the oncology context in times of facing the COVID-19 pandemic. The research included the search and selection of national and international articles published from 2020 to 2021, in the PubMed, Scielo, LILACS and Google Academic databases, and 10 articles were selected. The results of the analysis showed that the main recommendations are focused on reducing the visits of cancer patients to the hospital for return consultations or monitoring, using telemedicine as the main resource, reducing the number of companions in the hospital and the use of personal protective equipment such as masks for professionals, patients and companions. The monitoring of professionals in oncology sectors for signs of infection by COVID, online consultations, and home monitoring were also strategies mentioned. We conclude that the main recommendations involve protecting cancer patients who already have their immunity compromised by the cancer itself. Therefore, several studies show that there is an effervescence of scientific knowledge being produced in order to contribute to the improvement of practices regarding the care directed to cancer patients.

A chamada síndrome respiratória aguda grave coronavírus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) é uma doença de grande impacto em pessoas imunossuprimidas, incluindo pacientes com câncer que possuem risco aumentado de infecção em comparação com a população geral. Nessa perspectiva, o presente estudo objetivo apresentar uma revisão integrativa da literatura sobre as práticas de cuidado da enfermagem no contexto da oncologia em tempos de enfrentamento da pandemia da COVID-19. A pesquisa englobou a busca e a seleção de artigos nacionais e internacionais publicados no período de 2020 a 2021, nas bases de dados PubMed, Scielo, LILACS e Google Acadêmico, sendo selecionados 10 artigos. Os resultados da análise evidenciaram que as principais recomendações estão voltadas a diminuir a ida dos pacientes oncológicos ao hospital para consultas de retorno ou monitoramento, passando a utilizar o uso da telemedicina como principal recurso, diminuição do número de acompanhantes no hospital e uso de equipamentos de proteção individual como máscaras para profissionais, pacientes e acompanhantes. O monitoramento dos profissionais nos setores oncológicos quanto a sinais de infecção pela COVID, consultas online e monitoramento domiciliar foram também estratégias citadas. Conclui-se que as principais recomendações passam por proteger os pacientes oncológicos que já estão com imunidade comprometida pelo próprio câncer.
