| Resumo: | The present work has the objective of analyzing the impact that textile industries of São Bento
- PB had on imports of textile products from China. For this the research addresses issues
such as globalization, foreign trade, international agreements and others so that the theme can
be contextualized. Methods of bibliographic analysis, exploratory, quantitative and qualitative
were adopted. Most of the data extracted from the Ministry of Development, Industry and
Foreign Trade were important so that it could analyze the trade balance of the textile sector of
São Bento - PB, and the data collected from the Ministry of Labor and Employment and
IBGE were important to evidence The impacts on local textile industries and the formal jobs
generated by them. In this context, it was possible to detect the impacts generated by the
participation of Chinese products in the industry of São Bento - PB, as well as the suggestions
to soften such damages caused in the local trade balance. |
