Resumo:Physical activity is considered an important element in the population's quality of life, but little is done in educational settings. In the specific case of UFRN, there is no information on patterns of behavior towards physical activity and physical inactivity among students. The objective of this study was to verify the NAF of university students enrolled in different courses at UFRN and to compare them between undergraduate courses, sex and time in which they are taking the undergraduate course. The sample consisted of 102 students from UFRN's Undergraduate Courses who answered the IPAQ Questionnaire between October and November / 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic period. it was concluded that undergraduate students at UFRN have median Levels of Physical Activity (NAF), despite having a worrying percentage of Sedentary and Irregularly active; that males have higher FPA than females; that incoming students tend to increase the NAF according to the course time and that the students of the Physical Education Course have a higher share of students with NAF of Very Active and higher Active in relation to the other Courses.
