Resumo:The habits adopted by individuals determine their lifestyle and this reflects on your health, which is important to the analysis of this profile in diverse populations. The objective of this study was to investigate the lifestyle of young and adult women frequenters core of Yoga UFRN University, through the questionnaire "Profile of the Individual Lifestyle" - pevi. The results showed that among the five analyzed components (Nutrition, Physical Activity, Preventive Behavior, Social Relationship and Control of Stress), 20% of women who practice yoga within six months reported inappropriate behavior in the nutrition component, followed by the Preventive Behavior 25% Physical activity 27%, with 33% Social Relationship and Stress Control with 51% of inappropriate behavior. Already 23% of women who practice for more than six months saw increased inappropriate behavior Preventive behavior component, followed by Social Networking component 25%, with 28% Nutrition and Physical Activity and Stress Control both with 37% c. By comparing the behavior, it was found that women who practice less than six months have an index of at least three analyzed components (preventive behavior, Social Relations and Control of stress) more inappropriate ie a less healthy lifestyle, compared with the same components as frequenters for more than 6 months.
