Resumo:In this work we observed the reality of three schools located in the northern zone of Natal, where our main objective was to analyze the physical education infrastructure in Natal schools in Rio Grande do Norte, in order to establish relationships with the Physical Education classes at school. For descriptive purposes, this research was used in a field diary of the researcher to list all the items that the schools had, paying attention to the state of conservation of the same. In the municipal school we basically perceive a multi-sport gymnasium and a patio as spaces for PE classes and some diversity of well-preserved materials. In the state school, despite the diversity of materials similar to the first school, the conservation of these materials is not so good, but are still usable mostly and beyond the gym, there is a sand court and a hall, however the negative points are the State of conservation of the gymnasium and court, even threatening the safety of students and teachers and the lack of accessibility in these areas. In private school we find a greater diversity and better state of conservation of materials and spaces, which facilitates the work of the teacher and improves the quality of PE classes.
