Resumo:Observing the negative experiences of children in the health services environment, such as crying, fear, lack of understanding of the situation, it was noticed, the lack of humanization, especially for this public. Thus, emerged the objective of this work, to use design as a way to improve the experience of childhood vaccination. The means chosen to promote this was the action of playing, having fun and stimulating the ludic. This was considered from the studies of the context of the health service, mainly in the childhood vaccination and its main problems. The study of child development, important factors in childhood and how it affects the children as well. In addition, the investigation of existing solutions and how design can act in the health area. The approach studied was the emotional design, in order to take the research focus to a humanizing level. So, consider promoting positive emotions and experiences as: playing, having fun, joy, sociability, friendship, among others. And the path chosen to reach the solution was to use the methods proposed in the book Universal Methods of Design, divided into Exploratory, Generative and Evaluative. With this, the end result was a workbook (Caderno de atividades: Minha saúde, vacinação infantil) and an activity board with toys. The proposal of the workbook was selected because of the importance of involving fun in synergy with learning and in order to keep the child informed of the vaccination process, placing the children at the center of the process and making them feel important. The board contains low cost toys and reusable material, thus making access to all audiences easier.
