Resumo:The Electronic Games market and it’s derivatives, features annually billions of dollars and encompasses several trades, in which the Game Designer is inserted. The current work aims to assist such professionals in independent (indie) companies to survive in the competitive market with titles (games) optimized through calculations created considering the taxonomization and analysis of more than a hundred of the best and worst titles from specified years according to the need of the research, along with the application of a determinant factor of similar patterns, assigned with the name of "Trending Factor". After application of specific taxonomy, analysis and Trending Factor calculation of 5 years for the years of 2012 to 2016, market forecasts were made for application in Game Design related to 2017 titles, leading to direct comparisons between such and titles released by independent companies to establish pattern confirmation or failures that can be optimized for more efficient forecasts. The process revealed similar patterns between the predictions and featured or awarded titles in 2017, demonstrating the relevance of results and the growing need to improve the data used to generate calculations. By prioritizing the replication of the taxonomy used in similar bases and also acting on it’s own database generated from a specific website for this purpose only, resources reguarding User Interface Design were studied and implemented to make it possible for a joint operation between users and moderators to ascertain the accuracy of submitted data that will be used in future researches.
