Resumo:Regardless of the paths taken by humanity, interaction and communication are natural and important attributes to support the entire social structure in which we are inserted. Currently, in the Age of Digital Participation, we are experiencing a new communicative reality: the migration of services and the product market to virtual social networks. On the social media Instagram, a virtual social network that will be our research environment, these companies seek to attract and maintain the engagement of their consumers with the brand through visual expression with various graphic publications. But how to make use of digital graphic resources to build visual communication that promotes public engagement around a brand and its products and/or services? What are the fundamental visual elements to promote the engagement of a specific audience? Anyway, these are some of the questions raised in this work, whose main objective is to point out which graphic and interactive parameters are essential for the visual language of a brand/institution to be clear and coherent, promoting the engagement of its audience in their posts published on the virtual social network Instagram. The application of the interactive design methodology in a brand visual expression can positively influence the results of your visual communication on Instagram, since the domain of Design is to present systematic ways of conceiving solutions to problems without losing sight of the human contexts, be they ethical and/or socio-cultural.
