Resumo: | This course’s conclusion work presents the project of an educational toy called Concentration
Bubble. This work’s research concerns, as a general purpose, the project of an educative toy
which support and auxiliates the teaching of meditation on childhood. For such, this work’s
research concerns, as specific objectives, the comprehension of the relationship between toys
and education, the contextualization of playing and the study of children cognitive aspects.
From the gathered data, the relevance of the ludic artifact was pondered as an educative tool,
which combined with the meditation practice, provides positive impacts on the cognitive and
emotional development of the child, such as on his interpersonal relations. For the building
of the artifact, was chosen, as methodological underpinnings, the propositions of Löbach
(2001) allied with the guidelines of emotional design proposed by Jordan (2000) – facing the
socioemotional character intrinsic to the theme of this work. Furthermore, the application
of heuristic techniques of design, suggested by Tschimmel (2006), were indispensable for the
final results. Lastly, although the use tests haven’t yet been performed, the product presented
in this project accomplished most of the aspects established in the toy premises. |
