Resumo: | This Course Conclusion Paper (TCC) aims to build an experience for the UFRN Sensory Garden, using service design tools as the methodological basis for data collection and creation processes. In addition, its secondary objectives are: to study the garden space as a useful tool in the environmental education process; demonstrate the importance of our senses as a facilitating tool in learning processes; design a space using service design thinking tools; and contribute to the experience lived within the Sensory Garden. The work analyzes the garden space historically according to Aragão (2008), reaching its classification as a sensory garden, Leão (2007), and thinking of it as a sensory space, Matos (2013), for the application of emotional design tools (JORDAN, 1999; DESMET, 2002; NORMAN, 2004) and service design, Stickdorn (2014). To achieve these goals, we used the methodological procedures found in the book “Universal Methods Of Design” (2012), resulting in the construction of an experience that arouses the senses of the visitors in the garden, using for this purpose service proposals and the development of a visual identity for the garden. |
