To conduct the researches for this project it was necessary to make bibliographic studies about design and communication, also using Alina Wheeler's metodology that contributed to establish a solid base for the realization of this assignment. The outcome of this project was to make a visual identity to better help promote Projeto Acolher, providing its expansion with a graphic representation, with the purpose of making it more relevant and known in society, reaching more people who will be able to assist this cause. Este trabalho tem como intuito a criação de uma Identidade Visual para o Acolher, projeto de extensão da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte que oferece o serviço de orientação psicológica para crianças e adolescentes em acolhimento institucional. Para a realização desse trabalho, fez-se necessário o estudo bibliográfico sobre design e comunicação, além do uso da metodologia de Alina Wheeler, que contribuiu para estabelecer uma base sólida a esse projeto.
