Descrição
Resumo:The proposed work aims to present a critical edition of the score of the armorial compositions Lamento do São Francisco (2003) and Forró de Salú (2003) for transverse flute and fife by the composer Egildo Vieira (1947-2015). This is a qualitative research, with a descriptiveexplanatory approach, using the literature review and data collection through the interview instrument. The study was divided into three phases: preparation that established the investigation for the construction of the musical conception; experimentation of the ornaments and articulations that established the suggestion of the interpretation and the edition of the works with the idiomatic aspects of the composer. The theoretical foundation is based on the critical edition (FIGUEIREDO, 2004); northeastern soundscape (VENTURA, 2007); fife as a social meaning (VELHA, 2009); technical-interpretative aspects (SILVA, 2014); aspects of northeastern music (QUEIROZ, 2014); popular poetics (SANTOS, 2009); regionalism and the articulation in the transverse flute (BENCK, 2004); aesthetics and the history of the Armorial Movement (AMARAL, 2013); interpretation of Armorial Music (BEZERRA, 2014); musical interpretation in general (ABDO, 2005); interpretation and execution (WINTER; SIVEIRA, 2006); baião genre (TINHORÃO, 2013); rhythmic pattern and forró genre (SANTOS, 2013); Arab influences in Brazilian folklore (SOLER, 1995); timbristic adaptations (ALOAN, 2008).
