Crynodeb: | Considering that the advent of the internet was central to the changes of the 20th century, especially in social relationships and forms of sociability, research about the Twitch TV streamer community on Whatsapp, denominated Valhalla, in order to understand the uses that the community makes of the virtual platforms (Whatsapp, Discord and Twitch) in which it inhabits. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the types of sociability that are generated from them and the way the community is structured. A digital ethnography is then carried out, with participant observation and immersion in the aforementioned platforms. In view of this, it appears that we were able to obtain an understanding of the functioning of online sociability networks, which use the platforms in a complex and fluctuating way, which imposes the realization that digital ethnography is important for research on virtual communities with interlocutors who inhabit the digital space. |
