Resumo:This is a research that addresses aspects of teaching-service integration in the context of the pandemic of COVID-19. The objective was to analyze the teachingservice integration as a strategy for Continuing Education in Health, in the confrontation with COVID-19 in services of the School Network of the Municipal Health Secretariat of João Pessoa - PB. The methodological approach classifies it as an exploratory, comprehensive-interpretative study, with a qualitative approach. The study was carried out at the Hospital Municipal Santa Isabel, the Epidemiological Surveillance Management, the Central Telessaúde de Orientações de Prevenção do Coronavírus - services of the Health Network of SMS/JP that perform actions to fight COVID-19, and are also practice spaces of Teaching Institutions. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and focus groups with service managers, health professionals, internship coordinators and students. The analysis allowed us to identify the circumstances of adversity that occurred in the period of pactuations and repactuations of practice settings in the health network of João Pessoa-PB, during the pandemic occurred by COVID-19. The contributions of the teaching-service integration for the process of qualification of workers and students in facing the COVID-19 and its correlation with the needs of the services under study, occurred from the movements of qualification of professionals and residents, actions of creation of protocols, forms and files, case discussions, uniprofessional and multiprofessional discussion spaces. It was confirmed that the teaching-service integration is a strategy for permanent education in health, considering the articulation between the actors of the services and educational institutions, provoking the development of a critical-reflective look at the service, correlating it with everyday life and the day-to-day of the territories, developing spaces for listening, support among professionals and students, learning, evolution and growth.
