Resumo:This research proposed to investigate whether the configuration of transmedia narrative in sports radio journalism in the coverage of CONMEBOL 2019 can change the social practices of radio production, using as object of analysis the journalistic production of Radio Globo of the event. The objective was to analyze, from the use of transmedia narrative in the content produced and the transmediation strategies, the public participation instigated by radio. To this end, concepts such as transmedia narrative (JENKINS, 2009), sports journalism (MALULY, 2017; PENA, 2012), sporting mega-events and spectacularization (BORDIEU, 1997; CAMPOS, 2012; MORIN, 2002; DEBORD, 2003) contributed. The methodological instrument departed from the conceptual framework based on transmediation strategies (ARNAUT et al, 2011; RENÓ and FLORES, 2012; GAMBARATO, 2013; FECHINE et al, 2013; FECHINE, 2016) in order to know how many and which transmediation strategies were used in this coverage. They complemented the bibliographic research and virtual non-participant observation. In the end, it was possible to consider that social networks contributed to the production and dissemination of content related to the event.
