Resumo:The present dissertation, “Mendonça indigenous women: daily life, resistance and struggle for rights in Rio Grande do Norte”, aims to know the processes of organization and political struggle of women leaders of the Mendonça Indigenous Territory – João Câmara/RN and how they reconcile this political action with their daily lives in the community. The fact that women are the majority in the Indigenous Movement of RN, are the leaders of the Mendonça Indigenous Territory and also the fact that I am from such Territory motivated this ethnographic research, whose objective is to understand how the processes of action of women in the Movement take place. Indigenous people, based on their view of these processes. The main question that was faced in the research concerns the forms of organization and political struggle of these women, seeking to know and describe their trajectories, experiences and how indigenous women leaders act in these spaces of struggle and in the political agendas in the local, regional Indigenous Movement. and national.
