The action assisted students (elementary school children) from schools of the municipal network of Caicó/RN. The organizing perspective of Philosophy with Children. The action assisted students (elementary school children) from schools of the municipal network of Caicó/RN. The organizing team was constituted of teacher from the basic education network and five volunteers, students from the Pedagogy course (CERES/UFRN). Workshops were carried out with the children, whose results pointed out the potentiality of the Philosophy with Children methodology for the development of investigation, reasoning, information organization and translation (dialog) skills in the process of teaching and learning with children. O presente texto tem como objetivo socializar resultados decorrentes de um projeto de extensão desenvolvido no ano de 2020, tendo como estratégia metodológica a realização de experiências de pensamento na perspectiva da Filosofia com Crianças. A ação atendeu alunos (crianças do Ensino Fundamental) de escolas da rede municipal de Caicó/RN. A equipe organizadora foi constituída por um professor da rede básica de ensino e cinco voluntários estudantes do curso de Pedagogia (CERES/UFRN).
