In the best jobs, one finds at best linear and bogus systems of growth. Such procedures are infallible in the process of accommodating the citizen and, furthermore, trapping him in an eternal circle of debts and frustrations. The present work deals with different methods of improving the financial behavior of Brazilians. For this, the growing work of recent days stands out: investing in the stock market. Specifically, it will be a search for financial independence through buy and holding with fundamental analysis. This new method, which has approximately 3% of Brazilians working, amazes many people in two ways: the dimension that correct attitudes can reach in this field and the intellectual fragility of some in the investment behavior of this aspect. O presente trabalho analisou como os investidores podem alcançar a possibilidade de independência financeira usando a estratégia de investimento buy and hold, traçando como objetivos o nível de experiência prática dos investidores, acessibilidade gratuita ao conteúdo e a possibilidade de obter independência financeira. A metodologia foi do tipo qualitativa e exploratória. A coleta de dados foi feita de modo remoto, com divulgação via aplicativo de Whats App e Direct no Instagram com investidores de Natal.
