Resumo:The world oil industry needs permanent research to modernize, with the aim of improving well drilling performance. Therefore, it has been researching the importance of nanoparticles together with fluids in the process of drilling wells in deep or shallow waters. Given this scenario, nanotechnology is being used in several areas of the oil industry, where it enhances the physical and chemical properties in reduced concentrations and conferred characteristics not previously presented by a given material. The use of nanoparticles in drilling fluids modifies their rheological properties, offering greater stability to the fluid. The general objective of this work was to carry out a bibliographic research in six scientific articles to make an analogy between them, in order to know the importance of nanoparticles and their efficiency in well drilling fluids. After analyzing these articles, it was concluded that the nanoparticles benefited from several properties such as viscosity, thermal stability, yield strength, fluid loss, among others, improving the performance and quality of drilling fluids.
