Resumo:The pet friendly segment has been growing a lot in recent years and becoming an increasingly promising and profitable market trend for the market, including for the tourist market. This is due to the fact that many people currently consider their animals as family members and make a point of inserting them into their daily activities, including in travel. Starting from this point, the main objective of this research was to present the determining factors of the supply and demand of pet friendly services in lodging media, analyzing a hotel as an example of the supply and demand of tourists seeking this type of service. This study has a qualitative character with an exploratory and descriptive approach. The methodology used for the collection of data from the offer was a case study with the application of a questionnaire to a hotel, and for the analysis of demand demand, another questionnaire was applied to tourists who have pets. The results obtained with this research indicate the need for the means of hosting to better understand the demand for pet friendly service and seek to adapt in fact to its requirements.
