Resumo:Over the years, the oil industry has been going through great challenges, generating an intense search for new reserves and the development of technologies in exploration and production. One of the major challenges in the oil industry is the exploration of reservoirs equipped with a reserve of heavy oil, the high viscosity of this type of oil ends up hindering its flow. In years of production and studies, the steam injection has been one of the most used methods worldwide, as it is a very effective method in reducing viscosity and increasing the production of the reservoir. In this work, the continuous steam injection method using five-spot production meshes was used. Also, studies were made with a fluid model varying its different groups of pseudo components to understand its influence on production, computational time, temperature, and the influence of operating parameters and the fluid model on oil recovery. For the simulation, the tools of the Computer Modeling Group (CMG) were used, in Winprop the fluid models were created, and in the Builder, all the modeling of reservoir parameters were made as well as the creation of the same. For studies of the thermal method, the STARS module was used, emphasizing continuous steam injection. The use of simpler clusters of the base fluid was concluded, it is feasible, generating shorter computational simulations times, in addition to presenting results relatively close to the original for the studied parameters.
