Resumo:Every year, the teams that participate in the SAE BRASIL AeroDesign competition are instigated to find solutions to certain challenges imposed by the organization through a regulation. The design of each aircraft differs from the another, but one of the areas of study, which they all have in common, is performance. Every aircraft has four major forces acting, they are: the lift force, the drag force, the weight force and the traction force generated by the power unit. The thrust generated by the power unit will be the object of study of this work aiming to show an analysis of a dynamic wind tunnel test and compare the results obtained with the Propeller Selector software. Among the different propellers analyzed in this work, the MAS 12x8x3 is the one that had the lowest rate of decay of the thrust with the incidence of flow velocity, totaling a loss of 19.71% in relation to the initial thrust. With the results obtained through the tests of static thrust and dynamic, it is possible to choose the propeller and the engine to obtain the best performance and able to achieve the desired objectives.
