A correlação entre os casos de arboviroses e as denúncias de lançamento de águas servidas no município de Natal/RN
description The present research sought to analyze the possibility of correlation between the cases of arboviruses and the complaints of wastewater made by the population in the city of Natal/RN. At the same time, it investigated which areas had the highest concentrations of cases or complaints in order to explain the possible causes for the emergence of both according to their numbers. For that, Pearson's Correlation was used to verify the connection between the variables cases of arboviruses and complaints of wastewater. It brought a perspective on how the sewage system interferes with the number of cases of arboviruses in the city. In addition to identifying the sociodemographic profile of administrative areas and neighborhoods and how this factor influences the number of complaints made in each area. Methodologically, the research fits as applied, descriptive, exploratory and explanatory, based on bibliographic articles, legislation, books and others. As methodological procedures, the research uses the narrative review and the hypothetical deductive method and the data collection was carried out within a month at the Secretary of Environment and Urbanism of Natal (SEMURB), at the Municipal Health Department of Natal (SMS), at the Natal Zoonoses Control Center (CCZ) and the SUS Information Technology Department (DATASUS). Coming to the conclusion that there is really a correlation between cases of arboviruses and reports of wastewater, in addition to the fact that there is a gap on the part of the informational population about the possibility of reporting wastewater discharges.

A presente pesquisa buscou analisar a possibilidade de correlação entre os casos de arboviroses e as denúncias de águas servidas realizadas pela população no município de Natal/RN. Ao mesmo passo que investigou quais áreas tinham maiores concentrações de casos ou denúncias a fim de explicar as possíveis causas para o surgimento de ambas de acordo com suas quantidades. Para tanto utilizou-se a Correlação de Pearson para verificar a ligação entre as variáveis casos de arboviroses e denúncias de água servida. Trouxe uma perspectiva sobre como o sistema de esgotamento sanitário interfere nas quantidades de casos de arboviroses na cidade. Além de identificar o perfil sociodemográfico das zonas administrativas e dos bairros e como esse fator influencia a quantidade de denúncias realizadas em cada área. Metodologicamente a pesquisa se enquadra como aplicada, descritiva, exploratória e explicativa, com base bibliográfica de artigos, legislação, livros e outros. Como procedimentos metodológicos a pesquisa utiliza a revisão narrativa e o método hipotético dedutivo e a coleta de dados foi realizada dentro de um mês na Secretaria de Meio Ambiente e Urbanismo de Natal (SEMURB), na Secretaria Municipal de Saúde de Natal (SMS), no Centro de Controle de Zoonoses de Natal (CCZ) e no Departamento de Informática do SUS (DATASUS).
