| Resumo: | This study aims to analyze the working conditions of workers at the basic health unit in a municipality in the interior of Paraíba, with regard to safety and health at work. The research is an exploratory study with a quali-quantitative approach. The population is comprised of the servers of that unit, 20 in total, and only 12 responded to the questionnaire. Data were collected through two questionnaires, one with open questions and the other with only one open question and the others closed, being this one applied to UBS servers and the other to the management team, mayor, secretary and director. Data were collected through a face-to-face questionnaire, and analyzed using the techniques of content analysis and descriptive statistical analysis. The result reveals that there is no planned, elaborated and developed occupational health and safety policy for the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases in the aforementioned basic health unit, in addition to presenting some work environment conditions that pose a risk to the servers. |
