Resumo:The Court of Audit of Rio Grande do Norte (TCE/RN) assists the Legislative Assembly in the external control and one of its attributions is assessing the legality of acts of personnel. In this context, there was an accumulation of nearly 12,000 processes in DAP-BEN, the Court’s sector responsible for auditing these records, in early 2018. Such an accumulation is mainly due to the delay to analyze processes in the current models, the existence of physical processes, and the reduced technical staff. To solve this problem, two systems were developed, (i) Legis, which was concluded and today serves as a legislative basis for the Court, and (ii) SIAI AP Concessões, which was partially developed and whose objective aims to optimize the process of granting benefits. This work presents the development of these systems, as well as the results of a survey carried out only with users of Legis to evaluate their satisfaction with the system and gather information that could serve for future improvements. Obtained results revealed the satisfaction of users with the system and a sensible contribution to their activities. However, such users pointed out that Legis should be extended to other bodies besides the Social Security Institutes. Therefore, it was concluded that the combination of Information Technology with the legal area was a well-accepted solution and that has contributed to the optimization in the analysis of benefit acts.
