This is a descriptive study of a qualitative nature in the experience reporting modality. It was based on ethnoeducation in health. The group is composed of 10 to 15 women, mostly older than 50 years. The meetings began in August 2017, when, in addition to the creation of ties, we proposed the theme of women's empowerment and violence against women, based on a welcoming approach and listening to possible demands that might arise from the participants, as well as clarification and discussion of the significance and importance of such themes in society and daily female life. Currently the group is consolidated in the fixed schedule of activities of the unit, besides, it is of total interest and commitment of the professionals of the service that the same happens. I finish the residence with a sense of accomplishment, no hardship or difficulty equals the certainty of having done the best job possible, even in the face of all the limitations. Este trabalho justifica-se pela necessidade de compartilhar a experiência de uma Enfermeira na Residência Multiprofissional em Atenção Básica e tem como objetivo apresentar o relato de experiência de um grupo de mulheres na Unidade Básica de Saúde do bairro João XXII, em Caicó-RN. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo de natureza qualitativa na modalidade de relato de experiência. Teve como base orientadora a Etnoeducação em Saúde. O grupo é composto entre 10 e 15 mulheres, em sua maioria acima de 50 anos. As reuniões deram início em agosto de 2017, quando, além da criação de vínculo, propusemos a temática emponderamento feminino e violência contra a mulher, a partir de uma abordagem de acolhimento e escuta de possíveis demandas que pudessem surgir das participantes, como também ao esclarecimento e discussão do significado e importância de tais temas na sociedade e vida cotidiana feminina. Atualmente o grupo está consolidado no cronograma fixo de atividades da unidade, além disso, é de total interesse e comprometimento dos profissionais do serviço que o mesmo aconteça.
