| Resumo: | This work is justified by the need to share the experience of a Nurse in the Multiprofessional Residency in Primary Care and aims to present the experience report of a group of women in the Basic Health Unit of the neighborhood of João XXII in Caicó-RN. This is a descriptive study of a qualitative nature in the experience reporting modality. It was based on ethnoeducation in health. The group is composed of 10 to 15 women, mostly older than 50 years. The meetings began in August 2017, when, in addition to the creation of ties, we proposed the theme of women's empowerment and violence against women, based on a welcoming approach and listening to possible demands that might arise from the participants, as well as clarification and discussion of the significance and importance of such themes in society and daily female life. Currently the group is consolidated in the fixed schedule of activities of the unit, besides, it is of total interest and commitment of the professionals of the service that the same happens. I finish the residence with a sense of accomplishment, no hardship or difficulty equals the certainty of having done the best job possible, even in the face of all the limitations. |
