| Resumo: | This paper seeks to contextualize the Brazilian competition law and its system of defense of competition and the need to apply the rule of administrative efficiency in defense agencies in Brazil. To do so, we first analyze the historical aspects of the defense of competition in Brazil until we reach the current scenario with a modern Defense of Competition Brazilian System. The objective of the monograph is to demonstrate the importance of applying the principle of administrative efficiency in Brazil, with its undisputed cogent force, to these Sistem bodies, especially the for Economic Defense Administrative Council in order to defend competition, which is considered in the text as a monopoly of state administrative activity, to consolidate itself as an instrument of economic and social development in the country. |
