| Resumo: | The Federal Government, in order to achieve its objectives and improve public servisse provision, needs to hire Information and Communication Technology solutions. Two federal state-owned ICT companies provide solutions in that area to the Government – Dataprev and Serpro. These state-owned companies were enrolled for the Program of Investment Partnership qualification, which aims to broaden and to consolidate interaction between the State and Private Initiative. This paper main goal is to study the Privatization process Applied to Dataprev and Serpro, by presenting processes stages, those companies’ role and reasons for the qualification. It was also analyzed the state-owned companies’ legal regime, with a brief history and quick concepts. In addition, it was presented the theoretical grounding regarding the Privatization process. To complete the paper achievement, the methodology to be used will be a case study along with literature review. |
