Participating actively in integrated activities within health policies has always been a huge challenge, especially when it comes to the most vulnerable populations. It is hard to believe that even today a curable and preventable infectious disease like Tuberculosis is the leading cause of death in people living with HIV / AIDS in the country. Looking for innovations and adopting shared management strategies means deconstructing pre-existing knowledge and that certainly makes us rethink not only in our daily practices and professional responsibilities, but also in the humanitarian aspects that the whole context of TB / HIV disease brings back. The construction of actions that aim at greater commitment and commitment of the health services, based mainly on the principle of integrality, acquire greater importance and make care practices increasingly challenging, designing care that was previously only idealized. In this perspective, there is an urgent need to reorganize the care network, especially in the treatment of TB / HIV co-infection, in order to guarantee a comprehensive, articulated, harm reduction and resilient approach. Ministério da Saúde Participar ativamente de atividades integradas dentro das políticas de saúde sempre foi um enorme desafio, especialmente quando se refere às populações mais vulneráveis. É difícil acreditar que ainda hoje uma doença infecciosa curável e evitável como a tuberculose se constitui como a principal causa de morte em pessoas que vivem com HIV/AIDS no país. Buscar inovações e adotar estratégias de gestão compartilhada significa desconstruir conhecimentos pré-existentes e que, certamente, nos faz repensar não só em nossas práticas cotidianas e responsabilidades profissionais, mas também nos aspectos humanitários a que todo o contexto da doença TB/HIV nos remete. A construção de ações que visam ao maior empenho e comprometimento dos serviços de saúde, fundamentada principalmente no princípio da integralidade, adquire maior importância e torna cada vez mais desafiadoras as práticas assistenciais, desenhando cuidados antes apenas idealizados.
