The interventions performed to prevent against acquired immunodeficiency syndrome in the last five years is a relevant issue, and for this reason this article does a bibliographic study, compiling online publications of the last five years that deal with it in order to Knowand analyze the theme. The study used the Health Sciences Descriptor (DeCS) under the terms "Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome and Control of Communicable Diseases", whose collected data met the following inclusion criteria: scientific articles, available online and in Portuguese language, in the period From 2012 to 2017, in full. The temporal cut is justified by the fact that, in five years, the production of knowledge is substantially renewed, especially with regard to the knowledge conveyed in computerized media, 18 available articles are now composed of the corpus Of the data analyzed and the study used a quantitative-qualitative descriptive approach. The analysis of the trend of scientific production has proved to be absolutely preventive and of a socio-cultural nature. It was verified that in the prevention against the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome knowledge in health education and in permanent education are practiced with few priorities, in the country, being therefore, the clarification regarding the improvement of the knowledge of this area. Ministério da Saúde As intervenções realizadas nos últimos cinco anos para prevenção contra a Síndrome da Imunodeficiência Adquirida são relevantes e, por essa razão, este artigo faz um estudo bibliográfico, compilando publicações online dos últimos cinco anos a esse respeito, a fim de conhecer e analisar o tema. A pesquisa utilizou o Descritor em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS) mediante os termos “Síndrome Imunodeficiência Adquirida and Controle de Doenças Transmissíveis”, cujos dados coletados atenderam aos seguintes critérios de inclusão: artigos científicos disponíveis online e em idioma da Língua Portuguesa no período de 2012 a 2017 na íntegra. O recorte temporal justifica-se pelo fato de que, em cinco anos, a produção de conhecimento se renova substancialmente, especialmente no que tange ao conhecimento veiculado em mídias informatizadas. Assim, 18 artigos disponíveis passaram a compor o corpus dos dados analisados e o estudo utilizou abordagem descritiva quantiqualitativa. A análise da tendência das produções científicas revelou-se absolutamente preventiva e de natureza sociocultural.
