Throughout the gestation and in the puerperium the woman must be accompanied by the FHT with the accomplishment of a prenatal of good quality, identifying as early as possible any aggravation that needs intervention. In the case of syphilis, from the rapid test offer to the treatment of the pregnant woman and her sexual partner (s), there is time to offer the necessary care to avoid vertical transmission. The purpose of this project was to systematize the care of pregnant women diagnosed with syphilis and it is expected that with the application of the protocol, there will be greater involvement of the Team, pregnant women and their companions in a joint effort to reduce the rates of Congenital Syphilis. A bibliographic search was done in the databases of the Department of DIAHV of the Ministry of Health, in the article by Valéria Saraceni-A Syphilis, pregnancy and congenital syphilis-2005 and in the SciELO site with the descriptors: pregnant women, prenatal care, syphilis , congenital syphilis. Ministério da Saúde A gestação é o ponto culminante da vida reprodutiva de uma mulher e envolve importantes mudanças físicas e emocionais que precisam de cuidados próximos e eficientes para prevenir e/ou melhorar complicações que põem em perigo a vida da mãe e da criança que está por vir. Ao longo da gestação e no puerpério, a mulher deve ser acompanhada pela unidade básica de saúde com a realização de um pré-natal de boa qualidade, identificando o mais cedo possível qualquer agravamento que precise de intervenção. No caso da sífilis, desde a oferta de teste rápido ao tratamento da gestante e da (s) parceira (s) sexual (is), em tempo hábil para oferecer os cuidados necessários para evitar a transmissão vertical. O objetivo deste projeto foi sistematizar o atendimento de gestantes diagnosticadas com sífilis. Espera-se que com a aplicação do protocolo haja maior envolvimento da equipe, das mulheres grávidas e seus companheiros em um esforço conjunto para reduzir as taxas de sífilis congênita.
