Resumo:The interiorization attempt of Brazilian destinies by Federal Government is been increasingly on the rise as goal to decentralize tourism activity and its benefits of the coastal regions of the country. Thereby, Nationals plans of tourism have been created to guide the Public administration actions about tourism public policies, which were the plans from 2003 to 2007, from 2007 to 2010, from 2013- 2016, from 2018 to 2022. Thus, on 2004 it was created The Programa de Regionalização do Turismo (PRT) which would restructure tourism and decentralize the organizational power of the activity, fomenting through public policies directed to these interior regions process delimited by the state governments, the municipalities of the regions directed to those regions, this process is delimited by the state and city governments. That context make us to question how the Tourism Ministry has implemented actions to achieve the interiorization of tourism on touristic areas of Rio Grande do Norte (RN) and Paraíba (PB). Thus, this paper made a comparative analysis among four touristic regions, having as space data the regions of Seridó and Serrano (RN) and Brejo and Vale dos Dinossauros (PB). The goal of this research is to compare how the investments from Tourism Ministry are used on these two states and to check how public resources have been used to structure interior touristic destinies. To do this data it was used the data collect on websites like Tourism Ministry (SIACOR) and to make the data selection it was used Excel. The main conclusions is that interior regions of both states have potential to touristic activity, however, the passed investments to both states do not stimulate directly the flow or the creation of attractions to decentralize the flow of the coastal regions, because how it was observed on results few actions were made to contribute to development of activity on those four regions.
