| Resumo: | Considering the worldwide growth of the Airbnb platform, the research aims to evaluate the effects of Airbnb in the tourism dynamics of the Natal and Tibau do Sul destinations, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte (RN), these destinations are classified as A in the MTur Categorization and have tourist relevance for the RN state, because they generate tourist flow and income for the locality. Thus, the research will understand Airbnb's dynamics in these destinations. The research methodology is characterized as exploratory, using electronic research to collect information on Airbnb and Cadastro de Prestadores de Serviços Turísticos (CADASTUR) databases, in addition to information provided by Airdna. The results identified Airbnb's offer in destinations and how it behaves, concluding that the use of the platform, which uses the tourist areas to develop itself, is concentrated in areas of tourist use. |
