Resumo:The quality of services offered by an enterprise is necessary, because it ensures the satisfaction of the people who using this service, making them come back more times and giving a positive image to the company. Thus, the present study entitled "Quality in services: a study in the restaurant Recanto Verde - Parelhas / RN", has as general goal of evaluating the quality of services provided by Restaurant Recanto Verde and as specific objectives, know if the quality is a essential factor for what customers return to place, describe the services offered at that restaurant as well as to list the positives and negatives in the opinion of customers to identify the satisfaction of the services of the company in question. It was used in this study a methodological procedure of quantitative approach and having as strategy the literature and field research. Data analysis was by means of questionnaires given to customers of the restaurant. With regard to the results, these allowed us to know, in the view of customers, which is of great importance the quality of service in a tourist establishment because the customer satisfaction will reflect as positive points.
