Resumo:In order to have a motivated and productive employee in the work environment, the organization must guarantee the necessary conditions to satisfy the biological, psychological and social needs of the employee, only in order to make the most of their productive capacity. In this context, this research analyzed the Quality of Life at Work (QWL) of the servers of the Municipal Department of Education, Culture and Sports of the municipality of Currais Novos/RN, based on the categories of the model proposed by Richard Walton. Data were collected through a quantitative method that holistically assessed the interviewees' perception of the problem in question. In the interpretation of the data, we sought to relate information collected with knowledge obtained in the theoretical basis. The results showed that QWL indicators: Social Integration in the Organization, Constitutional Guarantees, Work and Total Living Space, and Social Relevance and Importance of Work had positive evaluations within the organization. However, the categories Fair and Adequate Compensation, Occupational Health and Safety, Capacity Utilization and Development, and Opportunity for Growth and Security presented negative points that need to be prioritized in order to improve the Quality of Life in the work of the institution's employees.
