| Resumo: | This research has the theme "social management and care for the elderly" and has to analyze the "social management" under the old "Monsenhor Paulo Herôncio" discussing the impact of the services provided by the institution with the assisted elderly. It is an institution that carries out social work welcoming the elderly and providing the services of basic needs promoting the welfare of the elderly. The nature of the study consists of a qualitative research with descriptive and exploratory approach, we had as a tool for data collection semi-structured interview, being applied to the coordinator and some under aged "Monsenhor Paulo Herôncio". It was identified that the provision of shelter services is active, providing the basic social protection service. currently interning thirty six elderly, but the study included only five elderly as a result of lack of clarity in most of them. The shelter of the old does a decent work ethic promoting the reintegration of people who for different reasons are admitted expecting a better quality of life, care, love and affection. Thinking about it is developed occupational activities, Mass one Sunday a month, birthdays, anniversaries, health care and social assistance. |
