Resumo:This study had as the greatest objective to understand how the process of setting sale prices at Queijeira Extra is made, where most of the numbers needed to develop this research were unknown, which is the main reason for its development. Therefore, the methodology used to conduct the research is based on the applied research and descriptive method. Thereby it was possible to identify that the company where the study was conducted, even with its price setting somewhat incomplete for not having theoretical basis and for not incorporating systemically all costs and expenses, worked as planned, though it did not know how much the costs and expenses represented, as also it did not know the real profitability per kilogram produced. By the end, it was suggested that the company should work with price setting based on costs.
