These income transfer programs are added in the new social, political, economic, and theoretical context, ranging from the perspective of a welfare model to a more comprehensive form of political commitment, especially with a view to incorporating actions and own budget, returning to social programs. The objective of this work is to analyze the conception of the effective limits and possibilities of control action of the Bolsa Família Program in the city of Currais Novos / RN, the characterization of the Program, the Board's performance, as well as the limits and possibilities that it offers in the Compliance and management of results. It was possible to observe some flaws in the inspection, performance and mainly because there is no Council of the Family Grant, being incorporated by the Council of Social Assistance. The case study was done through the form of bibliographic and documentary research, whose results demonstrate gaps in what concerns the control. O Programa Bolsa Família criado em 2003 é considerado atualmente como o mais importante programa de transferência de renda já realizado no Brasil e de grande destaque internacional, como forma de combate à miséria e exclusão social, unificando outros programas sociais já existentes. Esses programas de transferências de renda acrescentam-se no novo contexto social, político, econômico e teórico, que perpassam a visão de modelo assistencialista para uma forma mais abrangente de comprometimento político, principalmente visando ações incorporadas e de próprio orçamento voltando para os programas sociais. O objetivo desse trabalho é analisar a concepção de forma eficiente os limites e possibilidades de atuação controle do Programa Bolsa Família na cidade de Currais Novos/RN, a caracterização do Programa, atuação do Conselho, como também os limites e possibilidades que o mesmo oferece no que tange o cumprimento e na gestão dos resultados. Foi possível observar algumas falhas na fiscalização, atuação e principalmente por não existir o Conselho do Bolsa Família, sendo incorporado pelo Conselho de Assistência Social.
