| Resumo: | Maintenance is one of the main processes that takes place in the industry, because the effective use of the same allows a great saving in relation to cost the exchange and replacement of the equipment. This work is about Reliability Centered Maintenance, which is a technique whose overall objective is to reduce the cost of living of its assets, this is to reduce costs with maintenance activity, increasing their availability and reliability, and having as main objective the preservation of the function of its components. The work makes a literature review available in the literature, in order to build a knowledge base so that the technique under study is applied. The work deals with the use of essential tools for the application of maintenance focused on reliability: selection of the system and information collection, analysis of the mode of effects and failures, selection of the reliability model that best suits the data set and selection of activities to eliminate fault modes. |
