Resumo: | The objective of this project is to analyze and define the best option for a steam compression refrigeration cycle using carbon dioxide (CO2, R744) as the refrigerant for base cycle values and increments already stipulated. Initially, the historical evolution of the application of CO2 as a refrigerant will be presented, up to the technological context and environmental impacts of today. The positive operational points of the refrigerant that justify the motivation for the current growth of facilities as well as the refrigeration cycle will be clarified. Different configurations will be compared by software simulations to conclude which of these cycles obtains the best performance coefficient (COP). Thermodynamic analysis was developed using the Simple CO2 One Stage Plant software. |
